MUSIC, LITERATURE, ART

Such a plethora of flavors...where does it stop?

An ever changing, provocative, living, breathing emotional outlet, source of inspiration, meditation, and healing...it is a constant struggle in my life.

To absorb, feel, be moved by music, art, and literature I have yet to explore in depth.

To be introduced to nuances, life, and harmonies from artist(s), instruments, productions, creations previously unheard, unseen, or unread.

To revisit, revel, and immerse my head and heart in sounds and artistic creations that have touched my soul in the past.

This page will be a changing, growing, morphing list of music, art, and literature that has deeply touched me on some level. Whether serving as a mystic healer, a source or expression of elation and joy, a somber reminder of pain, remembrance, or reflection, each item included on this page will offer a glimpse into a few of the items that have truly touched me and changed me on a structural level throughout the course of my life.

Maybe some of these are new to you. Maybe they are like visiting an old friend, breaking free of the cobwebs in your mind, sparkling anew after a quick dusting off and maybe a little spit-shine...a beloved comfort, like an old shoe or a favorite old pair of jeans. Or maybe it simply gives you a new perspective on something you haven't thought about from the same light.

ALBUMS THAT MATTER

An ever growing list (not in order) of music that has moved me, changed me, challenged me, healed me, and opened my mind, my heart, and my spirit. This is NOT a list of my fave artists (though they will be in there. THIS is a list of albums and artists that signify a marked turning point in my musical, spiritual, and soulful education.
